Raspberry Peach Banana Green Smoothie

   Ugly but delicious! This smoothie is packed with protein in the form of hemp seeds and plenty of antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals from the fruit! I can't think of a better way to drink your breakfast or receive a little afternoon pick- me-up. And if you are pregnant like me and are trying to find protein sources that don't come from animal products, the addition of the hemp seeds adds 11 grams of protein to be exact! You can likewise interchange the hemp seeds for chia seeds if you so choose. It's tasty either way.

Recipe:

4 cups organic baby spinach
1/2 large organic peach, ripe
1 small banana
1 cup frozen organic red raspberries
3 tbsp. raw hulled hemp seeds
1-2 Medjool dates (for sweetness or use 1/2 packet stevia)
1 1/2 cups filtered cold water

Directions: 

In a high powered blender, combine spinach, banana, peach, raspberries, hemp seeds, date, and water. Blend on low for several seconds working your way up to high for one minute. Store in glass jars in refrigerator for up to 3 days.
