Green Goodness Smoothie

   Green smoothies are all the rage these days, so much so that the Hulk himself would go crazy for one! But the best part about this recipe? I took all the guess work out of properly combining your fruits for you to optimize digestion so that you receive every last bit of nutrition from that smoothie you could possibly squeeze out.

   Properly combining food is your number one defense for a healthy immune system as it allows you to free up energy that would otherwise be spent on digestion of poorly combined ingredients that rob your body of essential vitamins and minerals.

Recipe:

4 cups organic mixed greens (2 cups organic baby spinach/2 cups organic kale)
1/4 cup freshly chopped parsley
1 organic celery stalk
1 organic apple
1 organic pear
1 1/2-2 cups filtered water

Directions:

In a blender, combine above ingredients and blend until smooth. Store in glass jars for up to three days in the refrigerator.
